Day 1 – Airport to Colombo
On your arrival at the airport, the T2 Travels representative will meet and greet you, and we will start on our way to Colombo.
A direct trip from Bandaranaike International Airport to Colombo typically takes 45 minutes, and you will stay overnight at hotel on the Bed & Breakfast basis.
Day 2 – Colombo to Kandy
After breakfast at the hotel in Colombo, we will embark on the trip to Kandy.
In the morning, we will take a sightseeing tour of Colombo. During this excursion, we will see the colonial-era buildings of the Old Fort area, the National Museum of Sri Lanka, Streets of Pettah neighborhood, Gangaramaya Temple, Beira Lake, Independence Memorial Hall, and the Galle Face Green seaside promenade.
Continuing on our way, we will visit a Spice and Herbal Garden. Since the Bronze Age, Sri Lanka was a well-known producer of spices. Here you will be able to learn about and purchase the many spices Sri Lanka is famous for, among which the true cinnamon, with its unsurpassed quality, holds a very special place.

Day 3 – Kandy Day Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of this city.
Since its arrival to Sri Lanka, the sacred relic of Buddha’s tooth was the most revered Buddhist relic on the island, and through millennia, Sinhalese kings built temples specifically to house this relic. The last such temple, located inside the royal palace complex in Kandy is Sri Dalada Maligawa, or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which will be our first stop on this excursion.
Afterward, we will visit the Royal Botanic Garden in the Peradeniya suburbs. The botanic garden boasts with a collection of more than 4,000 plant species, among which the most famous is the collection of orchids.
Later, we will attend the Kandyan Dance Show, which starts at 4 pm. This cultural heritage show is showcasing the traditional Sri Lankan dances, consisting of dance routines developed over centuries from religious ritual and artistic forms.
Depending on your wishes, we will also visit the Gem Museum, traditional Wood Carving Factory, and Batik Factory where the cloth is dyed using this ancient technique.

Day 4 – Kandy to Bentota
After breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, we will start our trip to Bentota.
The first stop on our way will be at Tea Factory. On the tour through tea estate, you can learn about the history and process of producing some of the best tea in the world. And also sample and procure it.
We will also visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Situated on the banks of Maha Oya River, it was founded as a sanctuary for injured and abandoned wild elephant calves found around the island. Today, it also operates a successful breeding program, and we can watch them bathing in the river.

Day 5 – Galle Day Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel in Bentota, we will make plans for the rest of the day.
According to your wishes, we can spend the day in Leisure and activities on the beaches of Bentota. This resort town is dedicated to offering almost any possible beach activity or water sport. Snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, banana boat riding, helicopter joy rides, are just some of the many activities you can enjoy here.
Or we can embark on a Day Trip to Galle.
On this excursion, our first stop will be the town of Kosgoda where we will have a one hour River Boat Safari on the Madu Ganga River. This river meanders through marshy mangrove forest which is teeming with birdlife.
While in Kosgoda, we will also visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project. A hatchery and institution dedicated to the protection of these magnificent creatures.
Afterward, we will continue straight to the city of Galle. This city is a popular tourist destination for the Galle Fort, a walled fortress built by Portuguese in the 16th century AD, and expanded by the Dutch East India Company in the 17th. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and widely regarded as one of the best-preserved European colonial-era fortifications in South Asia.

Day 6 – Bentota to Airport
After breakfast at the hotel in Bentota, we will travel to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Before heading to the airport, and bidding farewell to this magical island, we will spend time enjoying the beautiful beaches of Bentota one last time. After enjoying Water Sports or any of the available activities, we will make the trip to the airport and you will catch the flight back home.
